2011 U.S.-EU: Bridging NanoEHS Research Efforts Joint Workshop
The first joint workshop was held on March 10-11, 2011 in Washington, DC. The goals of the workshop were to
- engage in an active discussion about environmental, health, and safety questions for nano-enabled products
- encourage joint programs of work that would leverage resources
- establish communities of practice, including identification of key points of contact /interest groups/themes between key US and EU researchers & key US and EU funding sources

2012 EU-U.S.: Bridging NanoEHS Research Efforts Joint Workshop
The second joint workshop was held on October 25-26, 2012 in Helsinki, Finland.
The purpose of this second Joint Workshop between the European Union and the United States was to further promote and deepen the EU-U.S. collaboration on nanosafety research. The aim was also to develop the Communities of Research (CoR) collaboration and to bring them to a new level of activity.

The third joint workshop was held on December 2-3, 2013 in Arlington, Virginia.
The goal of this workshop was to publicize progress towards COR goals and objectives, clarify and communicate future plans, share best practices, and identify areas of cross-Community collaboration.

2015 EU-U.S.: Bridging NanoEHS Research Efforts Joint Workshop
The fourth joint workshop was held on March 9-11, 2015 in Venice, Italy.
The purpose of the workshop was to further promote and deepen the EU-U.S. collaboration on nanosafety research. This workshop was intended to review progress toward COR goals and objectives, clarify and communicate future plans, share best practices, and identify areas of cross-COR collaboration.
